Dedicated Lessons for Deaf Students

"Hi. My name is Amanda Palmer. I'm a Black Belt with Hung Sao Do, and I am also fully trained as an instructor.

"I've been training with the organisation for 5 years, and there are other deaf students at all levels, including other Black Belts. There is no reason at all why deaf students can't fully integrate within the regular lessons Hung Sao Do offer throughout the region, and indeed, I can guarantee you will be made very welcome.

"However, we also recognise that sometimes you will need additional assistance. A good instructor can always demonstrate the perfect techniques, but it is not always so easy to explain some of the finer points or the specific reasons behind a particular move.

Amanda Palmer"This is why we are considering starting lessons aimed at new beginners in Karate, who happen to be deaf. Making use of sign language where necessary, we aim to provide a dedicated introduction to the discipline of Hung Sao Do. And you will be free to attend other classes to further improve your techniques and fitness.

"At the moment, we are still looking into this idea, and we are looking for the most suitable venue to host these sessions. If you think this might interest you, or would like to know more about the what Hung Sao Do has to offer, why not get in touch by filling in your details below. I very much look forward to you getting in touch."
